Heng Seng Pawnshop Company (Pte) Ltd is a licensed pawnbroker (Licence No. RP-000055-1971-N, Registry of Pawnbrokers, Ministry of Law). We have served Toa Payoh since 1971.
At a glance
Interest: Pledges above S$500 pay 1% for the first month, then 1.5% a month after that. Pledges of S$500 and below pay 1.5% a month. Part of a month is charged as a full month. We never charge above the legal cap of 1.5% a month.
Redemption period: 6 months from the pawn date.
Fees: Pawn ticket S$2. Lost pawn ticket: S$10 to renew or redeem (rightful owner only).

How renewal works
1. Pay the interest due at our counter or online at online.hengseng.com.sg.
2. Your pledge starts a new 6-month term and we issue a new pawn ticket (S$2 ticket fee).
How to redeem: Bring your pawn ticket and NRIC to our counter. Pay the loan amount plus the interest due, and collect your item.
Lost pawn ticket: Tell us as soon as you can. Only the rightful owner of the pledge can renew or redeem without the pawn ticket. A S$10 fee applies. Please bring your NRIC.
Notice of Forfeiture: If you do not redeem or renew your pledge within the redemption period, we will send you a Notice of Forfeiture before the pledge is forfeited. Please keep your contact details with us up to date.
